Live In Corruption

About this game

Live In corruption centers on Calvin, a man who has run out of options and reached his personal low point. His closest friend discovers him in that desperate state and extends an invitation to stay at his house. The friend’s wife and daughter are less than thrilled about the idea, yet Calvin has nowhere else to go, so he accepts and moves in over their objections. Among the household is Megan, a student with a flawless academic record. Despite her success in school, that competence has never carried over into her private life. She is a late bloomer, and the subject of dating and intimacy leaves her deeply uncertain and anxious. Calvin’s presence adds a new and unwelcome wrinkle to a home that was already tense before he arrived. This is a compact adult trainer game, and it takes its cues from Sid Valentine’s well-known Cohabitation. The developer put it together in free time, treating the work as a way to decompress from everyday stress, and was partly driven by a feeling of shared purpose with others making adult games. Even so, the project is not a remake of that earlier title, nor is it an officially sanctioned one. The result is a small-scale, personal take on the genre, built around a strained household and the friction that grows when an outsider settles in among reluctant hosts.
