About this game

Deluded opens with Alisa trying to piece together what happened to her sister, who has vanished without explanation. That investigation is barely underway when her own world collapses, and she is stripped of the standing and security she had always taken for granted. Stripped of money, connections and reputation, she sinks to the lowest rung of society, and the people who once surrounded her no longer remember she exists. From there she has to navigate an existence utterly unlike the one she was raised in. The game hands the player several distinct routes through which Alisa might climb back toward her previous position, each one asking something different of her in return. What she gives up along the way, and whom she trusts, shapes the outcome. Yet the climb itself gradually changes the person making it: ambitions that once seemed fixed begin to loosen, and the life she is chasing stops looking like the only reasonable destination. So the missing-sister thread becomes something broader — a study of what loss does to a person’s sense of direction, and of how priorities can quietly rearrange themselves while nobody is watching. Alisa’s wants are not the same at the end as at the start, and the game leans into that ambiguity instead of resolving it. The question it keeps returning to is uncomfortable and simple: if Alisa finally manages to rebuild everything she had, will she still have any use for it?
