Bad Manners

About this game

Hans Westergaard’s scheme to claim a kingdom ended in humiliation, leaving him a prince without a throne, a reputation, or any obvious future. So the letter that arrives out of nowhere, naming him headmaster of the Imperial College of Proper Ladies, reads almost like a joke. Almost. Someone with wealth and influence wants him in that post badly enough to promise powerful backing, protection, and possibly a route back toward the crown he lost. The price is stranger than the offer itself. Under Hans’s guidance, the school’s famously well-mannered young women are to be remade into something thoroughly indecent—poised, polished debutantes turned shameless and hungry. He hesitates at first, unsure whether the whole arrangement is a trap, a test, or simply absurd. Then he sees the enrollment list. The two princesses whose interference wrecked his plans are coming to study within those walls, and the task stops looking like a burden. Revenge and ambition arrive in the same stroke, and Hans accepts with an enthusiasm he no longer bothers to hide. What he does not yet understand is that his anonymous patron is playing a longer game, and that the headmaster’s chair comes with complications far beyond lesson plans, scandal, and unruly students.
