Problematic Subjects

About this game

Problematic Subjects drops you into a detention room at Ravenscroft College, where the real test isn’t punishment but memory. BabusGames casts Emily Green as the game’s central figure: a self-assured woman who runs the room with authority and has her own methods for dealing with unruly students. This mature release, currently at version 1.4.0 Dev5, blends an adult college setting with animated 2dcg visuals that give every encounter a lively, hand-drawn feel. The loop is built on close attention. Each character has particular tastes and habits, and the only way forward is to notice them during conversations and then prove you can recall them later. Bring the right details back at the right moment and new scenes open up; fumble them and that content stays locked. It’s a simple idea, but it demands genuine focus, because your memory is effectively the progression system. What makes the design work is how tightly that challenge is woven into the story rather than bolted on as a side activity. Watching, remembering, and acting on what you’ve learned become the way the narrative advances, and Emily’s forceful personality holds the whole college scenario together while the animation carries the character interactions. BabusGames is open to player reviews and feedback, which helps shape what the studio works on next. If a character-driven adult game built around observation, recall, and scenes you unlock through attentiveness sounds like your kind of experience, Problematic Subjects is ready when you are.
