You are nobody important yet—just a young recruit assigned to a lonely post at the entrance, waving travelers through and learning how much paperwork a border really generates. The title of inspector is the dream, and reaching it means proving yourself one shift at a time in a world that seems designed to test your focus. The daily routine is deceptively simple. Papers have to be reviewed, names confirmed, and traffic kept moving without incident. The work rewards a keen eye, a cool head, and a degree of professional detachment that the job description never quite prepares you for—especially once you notice who keeps turning up at your counter, since nearly every traveler waiting in line happens to be a strikingly attractive young woman. What you do with those encounters is entirely up to you. You can stay disciplined, stamp what needs stamping, and earn the respect of your superiors, or you can let curiosity win and spend your hours getting personally acquainted with the women passing through your checkpoint. Neither path is closed off, and the game never scolds you for picking the second one. Whatever you choose ripples far past your little booth.
